Philip J. Goscienski, M.D. is a pediatric infectious disease specialist, a retired Navy captain and a retired clinical professor of pediatrics. He has written more than 700 newspaper and magazine articles, including the Saturday Evening Post and the American Heart Association Newsletter, several medical journal articles and medical textbook chapters and four books. As a CPR instructor and medical director of a local program in Public Access Defibrillation, he has helped to train more than 600 members of a local church in CPR.
